John Bianculli joins Bassist Hal Slapin and Drummer John Vourtsis for this week’s session of The Tuesday Jazz Series.
John Bianculli, a self-taught, skilled, and adaptable musician, grew up in the heart of New York City’s Greenwich Village. His expertise was honed while performing on the jazz circuit spanning from New York to Washington D.C. Over his career, John has played piano for internationally renowned jazz recording artist Steve Nelson for over five years and Jeanie Bryson for over a decade. He has also collaborated with prominent musicians such as Cassandra Wilson, Terence Blanchard, Regina Belle, Charlie Rouse, Bobby Watson, James Spaulding, Jimmy Ponder, Bill Hardman, and Earl May.
Enjoy Happy Hour from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM with half-price beers, select wines, and appetizers. Special Guest Rich Court on solo piano. He’ll play standards, Beatles tunes, and more starting at 5:30 PM.
The doors open at 4:30 PM. There is a $5 entertainment fee and a $25 minimum for food and drinks per person. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled set time, and reservations are highly encouraged.
