Karl Latham: is a highly acclaimed drummer drummer widely known for his work alongside Rock and Roll Hall of Famers and Grammy-winning artists, including John Lee (Director of Dizzy Gillespie All-Star Groups), Bernie Worrell, The Shirelles (as their Music Director), Johnny Winter, Edgar Winter, Rachel Z, Mark Egan, The Dizzy Gillespie All-Stars, and Paquito D’Rivera. He co-leads the band Big Funk with Don Braden and heads his own group called Living Standards. Karl has also stepped in as a performer for shows such as Hamilton, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Ain’t Too Proud, Two Strangers, and several others.

Keyboardist Rob Aries toured and recorded with guitarist John Scofield with Dennis Chambers and Gary Grainger. He played and recorded with Special EFX, Bill Evans, Eliane Elias, Melba Moore and Freddie Jackson. Rob produced and co-wrote Donald Harrison’s CTI release “The Power of Cool”, and Cornelius Bumpus’s “Known Fact.” He toured with the Average White Band, 2013 until their retirement in 2024.

Bassist Calvin X Jones has performed with an impressive who’s who list of jazz greats, including Patti Austin, Don Braden, Tom Browne, Donald Byrd, Pharoah Sanders, and Max Roach. His Broadway credits include Bring ‘N Da Noise, Bring ‘N Da Funk, Ain’t Nothin’ But The Blues, and The Janis Joplin Show and Cats: The Jellicle Ball.
