Celebrated pianist/keyboardist, Tomoko Ohno has long been a favorite at Shanghai Jazz. The sound she is capable of producing is mesmerizing. Ask any of our regulars and they will attest!

Tomoko is an established pianist in the jazz scene in NYC and an esteemed member of our musical family here in Madison, is a truly special pianist. Originally from Tokyo, Japan she has been playing piano since her teens. She is a proud member of Sherrie Maricle’s Diva Jazz Orchestra and has played at Lincoln Center, Weill Recital, Carnegie Hall, The Blue Note, Birdland , and has performed and/or recorded with Slide Hampton, Claudio Roditi, James Spaulding, Rufus Reid, The John Lee Quartet and The Dizzy Gillespie Alumni Big Band. Ms. Ohno has also released albums as a leader in Japan, U.S., and Argentina.

Doors open at 4:30 for Happy Hour. Performance begins at 7:00 with $8 Entertainment Fee and $25 food & drink minimum per person. Reservations strongly recommended
